Myriad Associates created an online portal that simplifies the R&D tax credit claims process for small businesses, who may previously have missed out. Accountants are a key advisor when it comes to recommending routes to tax relief, but often lack the specialist knowledge to guide their clients through the process.

They needed accountants to understand there is an option for their SME clients and that Tax Cloud provides an accessible option for both assessing the qualifying criteria and securing the necessary specialist advice.

Promote how Tax Cloud could add value to the current service offerings of accountants as well as provide an extra stream of revenue for them

We needed to find a solution that would announce Tax Cloud’s arrival to the wider accounting profession, whilst driving commercial interest over time.

Given the abundance of in-house expertise at Tax Cloud and the ability to create quality content, we proposed that they should start an Insight Exchange (iX) subscription. The iX content marketing platform hosted on AccountingWEB is a place for vendors to connect through their content with the largest UK accounting community in a trusted environment. It allowed Tax Cloud to develop an ongoing dialogue with commercially relevant accountants over an extended period.

AccountingWEB’s iX delivery team provided regular content performance reports and audience insights to direct Tax Cloud to the key interest areas for the readership that aligned with their target market.

The Results

General increase in number of incoming enquiries

Contributed to TaxCloud appearing on the first page of Google organically for their key search terms

Over 2,500 article reads to date by relevant accountants

Used monthly audience and performance reports to guide a more informed content strategy
