Job Title: Digital Designer – 2 Month FTC (Paternity Cover)

Job Function: Design – PracticeWeb

Location: Bristol

Sift are a market leading digital B2B publishing & subscriptions business, based in the heart of Bristol.  We believe that we can inspire action every day, through the creation of amazing content, experiences and insight for our audiences & clients.

We’re on the look out for a talented Digital Designer to join our PracticeWeb team for two months of paternity cover. This role will support the production team in delivering high performing website to our clients. You’ll also be supporting the sales and marketing team to drive new business and revenue.

From understanding a brief, to designing a WordPress website using our own product and working with client feedback, you’ll be involved in a multiple aspects of the website creation process. You’ll also be required to design marketing collateral such as PDFs using our brand guidelines.

Reporting into the MD of PracticeWeb you’ll need to be creative, user focused, detail oriented, a team player with excellent communication skills who is eager to deliver beautifully crafted visual outputs.

What we’d like from you

 

  • At least 3 years experience as a web/UI designer
  • A portfolio of creative projects e.g. websites, pdf creation, branding
  • A good understanding of web and ux best practices
  • Experience in explaining and defending your design to clients
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Other web design skills – Sketch, InVision would be useful but not essential
  • A good understanding of digital marketing principles

Job Title: B2B Digital Marketing Manager

Job Function: AccountingWEB

Location: Bristol

We’re on the look out for a talented Digital Marketing Manager to join our AccountingWEB team. This role will support the Events and Delivery team, with focus on delivering best-in-class content campaigns and events for our B2B clients, project managing the end-to-end production and design process for digital content campaigns and live events, from initial brief through to delivery, creating and managing budgets and timelines.

You’ll work closely with out client delivery, sales, marketing, content and design teams and coordinate high quality, multi-channel, digital content programmes and live events with a focus on commercially sponsored activity.

Reporting into the Head of Events and Delivery you’ll need to be a highly self-motivated, positive and adaptable individual with excellent communication skills, professional approach, ability to collaborate and forge strong internal relationships.

What we’d like from you

  • 3-5 years experience in a B2B digital marketing role
  • Experience of delivering integrated, multi-channel marketing communications campaigns to drive audience acquisition, retention and conversion  
  • Proven track record of delivering content marketing campaigns, video production and  event marketing and delivery
  • Basic design skills – Photoshop or similar
  • Web design skills – WordPress would be useful but not essential  
  • Experience of using office and workplace tools, including but not limited to Word, Excel and Powerpoint, or their equivalents in the Google Suite: Docs, Sheets and Slides.
  • Experience of building and maintaining strong internal and external working relationships across all levels, gaining the confidence senior managers
  • Previous experience of working within a Publishing or Digital Media environment would be useful but not essential

We’re on the look out for a talented Sales Executive/ Manager to join our MyCustomer team.

This role will support the commercial sales operation within the Sift Business Division, with a focus on driving new client conversations and revenue within the Marketing Technology industry.

There are significant growth opportunities within our market, both in the UK and overseas, so we’re looking for a dynamic, self-starting individual who can make inroads with new clients; including new market entrants. With a strong focus on diversifying our revenue profile; your focus will be on selling our high quality content marketing opportunities, digital advertising solutions and events, including new digital products that we’ll be rolling out in 2019.

You’ll be comfortable with selling advertising solutions, offering a consultative, challenge-led sales approach and have the ability to get under the skin of a client’s business to match their marketing needs against our extensive portfolio of digital, events and content-led marketing services.

Reporting into the Head of Sales and Delivery, and working closely with the Account Management team, you’ll need to be a positive, results-driven, self-motivated individual with discipline, drive and tenacity. You’ll have previous sales or media experience, working within a team environment, and be proficient in proposal writing as well as having excellent phone sales skills.

You may be a Sales Executive or Manager within media sales, advertising agency or in-house environment with a proven track record, looking for your next career move within a fast-paced digital media company.

What we’d like from you

  • Proven successful sales experience (ideally in media sales)
  • Confident and clear communicator for both verbal and written communication (proposal writing, presentations, meetings and phone sales)
  • Developing internal and external relationships
  • Planning and organisation
  • Team working and collaboration
  • A good understanding of digital marketing disciplines
  • Experience within the marketing technology market is desired but not essential

You’ll provide best-in-class commercial opportunity development across our business, focusing on creating positive relationships with new prospects, gaining their trust and buy in to engage with the commercial and content teams within our publishing units.  You would be responsible for ensuring key prospects are approached, engaged, educated and influenced, in doing so the prospects will be positively receptive to establishing meaningful and sustainable working relationships with Sift.

Reporting into the Head of Sales and Delivery and working closely with the Account Management team, you’ll need to be a positive, results-driven, self-motivated individual with discipline, drive and tenacity.  Experience working in a media business and knowledge of the accounting sector are essential for this role.You’ll also be proficient in proposal writing as well as having excellent telephone sales skills.
