Job Title: SEM Specialist

Job Function: Marketing

Location: Bristol

Summary

So, now that this page content has loaded, are you looking at this job advert and immediately wondering how you could improve the structure to get it seen by the most people? You might even be skimming for keywords, or reviewing our domain authority. You could even be someone who considers their next career move based on a company’s domain name. If any of the above is true, it may be worth continuing to read on because we need an SEM Specialist – and that could be you…

Sift (that’s us) is a market-leading digital B2B publishing and marketing services agency business, based in the heart of Bristol. We’re hiring specifically for PracticeWEB (https://www.practiceweb.co.uk), our digital marketing agency who build brilliant websites for accountants as well as creating content and providing support and services – essentially, we’re a  lovely bunch of people who engage with accountants from end to end.

One of the fantastic services we offer for PracticeWEB is SEO and Management, and in order to deliver a fantastic product, we need a fantastic SEM Specialist. We would need you to manage and deliver all client SEO campaigns for PracticeWEB. This includes assessing, integrating, monitoring, adapting and improving the overall architecture of sites in a bid to improve each site’s position and overall online accessibility and performance. You would also be required to advise not only directly with clients but also internal stakeholders.

In addition to working on PracticeWEB, we would give you the challenge of growing the overall online visibility of all the SIFT sites, including AccountingWEB, HRZone, TrainingZONE, MYCustomer plus our successful US business AccountingWEB.com and the UK’s largest and most active online forum, UK Business Forums. This will involve reviewing and advising on changes to support the overall strategy and accessibility objectives, plus be a key influencer with the raft of new projects we’re working on to expand our content offering to audience and clients.

Finally, you will be responsible for managing our Google AdEx account for all the Sift sites, including monitoring of bid activity and reporting of revenue generation. This area will be light touch, as it is currently fairly self-managed, but is vital in being the first port of call in monitoring and flagging any areas of concern.

Want to meet us? Well, we may just want to meet you too! In order to make sure we’re a good fit, we need a couple of things from you. A covering letter (although this bit isn’t mandatory), an up-to-date CV, plus if you could let us know in your email what your salary expectations are so that we can be sure that we can offer you a package that you’d be happy with!

Please note there is only a small window of opportunity for this high-profile role. We will be looking to close applications on Sunday 29th April 2018, although we may end up closing early, depending on the volume of applications received.

While we love working with and supporting local businesses, we unfortunately can’t accept any agency contact for this or other roles at SIFT.
