Job Title: Sales Executive 

Job Function: Sales – MyCustomer

Location: Bristol

Sift are a market leading digital B2B publishing & subscriptions business, based in the heart of Bristol.  We believe that we can inspire action every day, through the creation of amazing content, experiences and insight for our audiences & clients.

We’re on the look out for a talented Sales Executive/ Manager to join our MyCustomer team.

This role will support the commercial sales operation within the Sift Business Division, with a focus on driving new client conversations and revenue within the Marketing Technology industry.

There are significant growth opportunities within our market, both in the UK and overseas, so we’re looking for a dynamic, self-starting individual who can make inroads with new clients; including new market entrants. With a strong focus on diversifying our revenue profile; your focus will be on selling our high quality content marketing opportunities, digital advertising solutions and events, including new digital products that we’ll be rolling out in 2019.

You’ll be comfortable with selling advertising solutions, offering a consultative, challenge-led sales approach and have the ability to get under the skin of a client’s business to match their marketing needs against our extensive portfolio of digital, events and content-led marketing services.

Reporting into the Head of Sales and Delivery, and working closely with the Account Management team, you’ll need to be a positive, results-driven, self-motivated individual with discipline, drive and tenacity. You’ll have previous sales or media experience, working within a team environment, and be proficient in proposal writing as well as having excellent phone sales skills.

You may be a Sales Executive or Manager within media sales, advertising agency or in-house environment with a proven track record, looking for your next career move within a fast-paced digital media company.

What we’d like from you

  • Proven successful sales experience (ideally in media sales)
  • Confident and clear communicator for both verbal and written communication (proposal writing, presentations, meetings and phone sales)
  • Developing internal and external relationships
  • Planning and organisation
  • Team working and collaboration
  • A good understanding of digital marketing disciplines
  • Experience within the marketing technology market is desired but not essential

Job Title: Marketing Manager

Job Function: Marketing – PracticeWeb

Location: Bristol

PracticeWeb are on the look out for a results-driven Marketing Manager.  We are entering into an exciting year, with a new value proposition and re-freshed product set, now we are ready tell the world.

As the Marketing Manager, you will have full ownership of all things marketing, so if you consider yourself to be specialist in all areas of the marketing mix, get in touch!

You will be developing, implementing and tracking all marketing activity.  So you should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead marketing campaigns from concept to execution

Who are we? We are PracticeWeb and we work in partnership with ambitious accountancy firms all round the UK, to deliver insight, strategies and marketing campaigns that produce excellent results.  This is a cross-function role, so check out some of the faces you will be working with here.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver highly effective strategic and tactical marketing plans
  • Collaborate with the business to take products and services to market
  • Drive our brand positioning through on and offline Marketing
  • Run lead generation campaigns
  • Track, measure, analyse and report on marketing KPIs
  • Conduct market research to ensure PracticeWeb stay ahead
  • Create and deliver digital and in person events
  • Work with product, customer success, and commercial teams to improve our position, proposition, products and services
  • Experience of all aspects of digital marketing, including CRM, email, social media, websites, search and online advertising
  • Work with sales to improve the sales and marketing alignment and processes,
  • Manage the marketing budget measuring ROI
  • Work across teams to support client retention and key account growth
  • Work with editorial team and SEO specialist to create content to improve search engine rankings, drive thought leadership and move prospects from top of the funnel to bottom of the funnel

We’re on the look out for a talented Business Development Manager with specific Banking and FinTech market knowledge to join our AccountingWEB team.

This is a multi-disciplined client-facing role to support our commercial operation and drive new business revenue, whilst ensuring good retention levels across the business.

To succeed in this role you’ll need to show that you are up for the challenge, a self-starter, curious by nature and someone who enjoys the autonomy to run their own working life – we’re here to support, guide and grow your career, but not tell you how to do it.

You’ll need to have specific sales & business development experience within the FinTech and Open Banking sectors, plus a good understanding of consultative and content driven selling.

You’ll provide best-in-class commercial opportunity development across our business, focusing on creating positive relationships with new prospects, gaining their trust and buy in to engage with the commercial and content teams within our publishing units.  You would be responsible for ensuring key prospects are approached, engaged, educated and influenced, in doing so the prospects will be positively receptive to establishing meaningful and sustainable working relationships with Sift.
